Automatic Negative thoughts, let talk about killing them. Our brain makes pathways of thinking like cows across a paddock, they always walk the same path because it is easier. When we continue to think negative a path is made and it is easy to walk across it when things go wrong, and we are consumed daily with negative thoughts. We need to kill that thought form and make a new positive path.

Grief and Loss

Losing a loved one is already a traumatic time, add a mental illness on top of that and it can be unbearable. Life is full of loss, that of pets, relationships, friends and family. Everyone has experienced loss, some more tragic and traumatic then others. But loss is loss, be it your dog of 13 years or your brother in a car accident. (I am not comparing the death of an animal with a death of a person, highlighting both losses cause the grief process).

Isolation is Dangerous

Tell you what, I don’t like being around too many people. I’m a small group kind of person, unless I’m in a hyper-manic phase, then I can walk into a room full of strangers with confidence and make everyone my friend. It is strange having different personalities dependant on where my mood is. But truly my happy place is at home with my family, eating in front of the TV watching episode after episode of our favourite show.
